 Homepage Ideas

From my analysis, I will probably stick to a more dull colour scheme that a lot of magazines use on their website, this draws more attention to the story photos. I can have my masthead at the top, maybe next to social media links, with a small selection of categories underneath. It can go straight into the main ‘new’ stories, with one bigger one and smaller ones on the side, then it can split into different categories underneath with stories and product advertisements. There will probably also be a subscribe popup or a thing to sign up to a newsletter.

Linked page ideas

I will probably choose to make some kind of ‘about us’ page as my linked page, with a few paragraphs about what my magazine does and its inspiration and so on. Then have things to subscribe, sign up to a newsletter, 'contact us' or get involved etc. This probably won't require many photos, maybe a layout with text over images in the background or around the side. 

Depending on the amount of photos I take, I might have enough to make a link page of one of the sections like 'beauty' or 'style' etc. though this would require a lot more photos, for articles and advertisements and I'd have to come up with more story names, so I probably won't go with this idea.
